P.E. Tips
1. Water Bottles- Please make sure your child bring's his
or her own water bottles to PE class. Water breaks for drinking fountains are
limited and can take away time for learning and fun.
2. Shoes and clothing- Please make sure students wear
tennis shoes that are tightly laced on PE days. If your child is wearing a
dress make sure there are shorts underneath.
3. Body Soreness- Students will most likely be sore the
first few weeks of PE class. Remind them that it is only normal for your
muscles be to sore after physical activity. If experiencing soreness, please
encourage them to stretch for at least 10 minutes each night.
4. Physical Elements/ Injuries- If your child for some reason
cannot participate in PE for whatever reason or is limited in any way please
send a note with your child to give to me before class or email me what your
child can and cannot do. If your child has asthma and uses an inhaler please
remind them to go to the nurse prior to scheduled PE class. Communication is
key.
